Acupressure Education Workshop
Join Anthony DiSalvo, LAc, for an afternoon of balance on Sunday, March 15th from 2-3:30pm in our Venice garden.
A guided journey rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that helps you decode your body’s signals, release built-up stress and restore balance from the inside out. You’ll learn how to use acupressure, a powerful tool complimentary with any other treatments or therapy you may be currently utilizing to support your current self-care routine. You’ll walk away knowing how to implement healing protocols that benefit your mind and body.
I. Acupressure can be just as powerful as acupuncture.
- You don’t need needles to heal, using simple pressure points throughout the day can
move stuck energy, ease pain, and calm your nervous system naturally.
II. Your breath directs your body’s energy.
- When you breathe intentionally into areas that feel tense or uncomfortable, you’re literally
telling your body where to send healing and blood flow.
III. Balance is the foundation of true health.
- Traditional Chinese Medicine teaches that prevention is more powerful than treatment, so
daily self-care and energy balancing keep your system strong long before illness shows up.
IV. Mindfulness needs movement.
- True awareness isn’t just noticing how you feel, it’s taking small, aligned actions (like
breathwork or pressure points) to bring yourself back into harmony.
Suggested attire: Dress warm, casual, loose clothing to access points on the arms and
legs.
