Queer, Bitter & Resilient: A Dandelion Workshop
Join us at the Brooklyn apothecary on Wednesday June 3rd at 7pm for a workshop all about dandelion, an often maligned herbal ally that offers so much support for both the body and spirit as we move through the pressure cooker of societal transformation. Considered bisexual and perfect from a botanical standpoint, this plant has medicine to share about gender expansiveness, resilience, sacred anger and the power of our voices.
Together, we will learn about dandelion as a queer herbal ally for times of transformation and how we can collectively embrace the power of bitter. We’ll also craft a simple and delicious dandelion tonic to support the liver and digestion, which participants will take home.
Each participant will receive:
-
A take-home dandelion tonic and recipe
-
Dandelion materia medica
-
15% off Anima Mundi products in store
Please note space is limited, purchasing tickets in advance is recommended. Refunds will be accepted up to 24 hours prior to event unless cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
Ericka Mabrie is a Brooklyn-based Earth tender, spiritual herbalist, baker and carrier of faery medicine.
